Unaware
Unaware seems to be lost in life, a hole through and through punctured a ragged slice.
Unaware you held my hand for awhile, led me down the path and left me this time.
Unaware has been there through death and crime, listening as the heart whispers gently over mine.
Unaware you moved on as needed, unaware my beckoning hasn't been heeded.
Unaware told me things that wanted to be said, musings and nostalgia and grief as I bled.
Unaware you led me to goodbye, memories lifted up, released, and let fly.
